The best of last years music lists continue to roll in. Today we have a great list of music and guilty pleasures from Austin based Adrian Quesada, founder of Brownout and one half Ocote Soul Sound, who both released amazing records in 2009.

Best Contemporary Albums of 2009 (in no order)
*Dan Auerbach – Keed it Hid (bought it solely off his production on Hacienda’s record and was not let down)
*White Denim – Fits (they keep getting better and better)
*All of Pablo Yglesias’ and DJ Andujar’s compilations they hit me with evertime i see them (mostly not contemporary bands but its music given to me by contemporaries in a “contemporary” setting so it counts)
*Los Chapillacs – Cumbia 3000/Recordando a marion 7″ (waiting on a full length!)
*Raekwon – Only built for Cuban Linx II (pleasant surprise)
*Spoon-Got Nuffin EP (they don’t ever half step)

2009 guilty pleasures
Madden 09 for PSP
The Office
Takis chips
Facebook (affair slowly came to a halt by end of the year but it still gets a mention)
