This month a most musical of paths has led Egyptian Project to the source of their sound, a February stint in Egypt prior to a month-long tour in France and a July Morocco tour. The brainchild of French producer Jérôme Ettinger, Egyptian Project blends electronic and acoustic music with the sounds of Egypt’s musical tradition. Their February soiree with Egypt brought the guys to French Institute in Mounira (a sold out performance that led to an encore show), Cairo Jazz Club, and French Institute in Alexandria. We are excited to hear that today Egyptian Project announced two encore concerts in Aswan (2/20) and Abu Simbel (2/22).
